STAAR STUDENT PORTAL
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Many students at George West ISD took a STAAR exam in May. Scores are available in the Texas Assessment portal online. Students will get results from their campus later in the summer, but you should be able to log in the portal and retrieve your results on or after August 16th. The Student Access Code is located on all STAAR Student Report Cards. It is a number that doesn't change and is issued to the student when they take the STAAR tests for the first time. For many students, this will begin in third grade.
To log in, go to http://texasassessment.gov. You will be asked for an access code. If you do not have the unique access code on hand, click on “Find my unique student access code”. Enter the requested information: first name, SSN (no dashes), and DOB and hit GO. Write down and save the access code for future use.
You can click on each subject to see a breakdown of the scores and/or click on download report cards to see their full report card.
