For a list of general application information, fees, which parts of the application that must be completed, and which essays are required for each university:

Financial Aid:
For 2023, the FAFSA opening date has been pushed back to December. As soon as possible, students and their parents should complete the Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  A FAFSA must be on file with each school to which you have applied in order to be considered for any form of federal or state assistance: Pell Grant, TEXAS Grant, Work-Study Employment, Stafford Loans, etc.  Many scholarships also require that the FAFSA at least be filed, regardless.  Remember, the FAFSA is FREE.  If for some reason a website you are on is asking for money, you are not on the correct website.

The FSA ID is a username and password that gives you the unique benefit of logging into your accounts - while removing all personally identifiable information.  Students and their parent must have an FSA ID.

Some universities require a CSS profile.  Check with your college or university of choice to see if the CSS is a requirement.  Additional information can be found at: www.collegeboard.org.
